The Academy's First Bus
For the past twelve years the Academy has used several vans to travel nearby and, at times, around the country. Now we have a new form of transportation. On October 26, 2007, the bus made its first trip around Herndon, and here is what a few the students have to say:
Joseph Gallagher (16): “Instead of going out separately and in different vans, now we can go out into the world and let everybody know that Saint Louis de Montfort Academy is here, united, and fighting the evil influences of our days.”
Louis Duncan (14): “It brings a new experience and a new atmosphere here to the Academy.”
On the initial bus trip everyone was enthusiastic since we were the first students to ride inside. Many others after us would spend hours aboard for years to come. Besides this, thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands would see the big blue letters and know who we are and what we stand for.
