About Us

At St. Louis de Montfort Academy, we are committed to forming young men with strong Catholic character, deep intellectual conviction, and unwavering moral courage.
Rooted in the timeless teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and inspired by the example of St. Louis de Montfort, our mission is to cultivate a generation of leaders who are faithful, disciplined, and devoted to the service of God and country.
Through rigorous academics, daily spiritual formation, and a structured environment that promotes virtue and responsibility, we strive to prepare our students to be defenders of Christian civilization and champions of truth in a world in need of conversion. The boys who attend the Academy embrace this challenge with eagerness, cultivating a spirit of camaraderie, enthusiasm, and genuine joy.
The Academy is an independent boarding school for boys grades 7 through 12 located in Herndon, Pennsylvania. Situated among the rolling hills of central Pennsylvania, the campus has been a home away from home for boys since 1995, the year of its founding. The school is staffed by a dedicated team of full-time members of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP).
Our Inspiration

The founding of St. Louis de Montfort Academy was inspired by Professor Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira — a towering Catholic intellectual, man of deep faith and action, and the visionary behind the network of TFP organizations in 25 countries.
His seminal work, Revolution and Counter-Revolution, offers the historical framework and worldview that underpin much of the Academy’s formation. Its analysis of the cultural and moral crisis afflicting the modern world serves as a spiritual battleplan for souls who yearn for the reign of Christ the King.
The Academy exists to put these ideals into practice — forming young men who are not only intellectually grounded in Catholic truth, but who love their Faith and culture deeply, and are prepared to defend them with conviction, courage, and example.
